It seems that everyone loves the scissors. People constantly tell me how much they love the scissors (you’ll do that too, or you would not read this, right?).

But why? What is it about the scissors that are so cool? And why does it affect so many people so strongly? Hmm … seems obvious to me:

1. Saxophone music makes you feel good. The actual sound of the scissors does something for you. It touches you. It tickles your nervous system in a good way. The vibration of the instrument changes your vibration when you hear it.

2. The saxophone sounds good at any time, in almost any kind of music, and makes almost any band more fun to listen to, even miserable bands. Even country music. Even Poles!

3. Saxophones create a good mood. The Saxen sounds hip, sophisticated, casual, sensual and romantic, and always creates a good mood, regardless of where it is played.

4. The Saxophone looks cool. Even the instrument’s appearance is artistic and fun. Even by having a scissor lying around the room creates a hip atmosphere. Having a saxophone in a room will always inspire interesting conversation.

5. Saxophone music takes you there. A good player can really take you places like no other instrument. Sure, guitar players would argue with it, but it’s true!

6. Saks players are cool people. Almost universally, saxophonists are hip and interesting people. And I know many of them.

Wherever you are here, or in what context does the saxophone always sound good, looks good and creates a good mood. And it makes you feel good when you hear it. That’s why so many people love the saxophone!
